I had a conversation earlier this week with a few people – some were curious and others were upset that I did not reach out re my last deal…..
First of all let me apologize. Secondly, let me take a moment to clarify the process and hopefully by doing so avoid a similar misunderstanding in the future.
Being on this newsletter list, does not guarantee that you will see the deals we are working on unless they are structured as 506C, i.e. for accredited investors only. Many of the deals we do are structured as 506B, i.e. reserved for our Dream Believe Achieve Club members only – investors we have a pre-existing substantive relationship, as defined by the SEC.
Establishing such a relationship requires that we have a conversation about your investment experience, goals, and criteria. This information also helps us determine if and how we can serve you better.
How much does it cost to join the Dream Believe Achieve Investor Club? Joining is complimentary – there is no monetary cost and membership gives you access to view the deals we are working on as well as invites to member-only events.
How do I join the Dream Believe Achieve Investor Club?
First, you can request to join here.
Second, joining the Club requires a discovery call to help us better understand your goals, investment objectives, risk tolerance, etc. This is not a sales a call – nothing is being presented or sold to you. The initial conversation (or series of conversations) helps us determine if or how to serve you better. If we determine that the investment opportunities we offer are not a good fit, then you are still welcome to continue to receive our educational newsletter and you are under no obligation to invest with us. There will likely be a follow up call after the initial call, to address additional questions you may have or review our sample deal.
Lastly, per SEC guidelines, there is a seasoning period required, i.e. you will be able to invest with us after an initial 30-45 day period – meaning if we have an active 506B deal in progress at the time of our initial discovery conversation, you will not be able to participate in it. These guidelines and requirements are in place for a good reason – to protect both the investor and the sponsor and ultimately help both parties take adequate time upfront to get to know each other.
